Locus Apps

Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

This policy covers the apps I, TJ Draper, make and sell on the Apple App Store, including Locus ToDo, and this website.

The short version: I don’t collect your information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. What you put in my apps stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account.

Information I collect

None. My apps don’t send your information to me, and I don’t run servers for them. You don’t create an account, and I never see the things you enter.

Your data and iCloud

Your data is stored on your device. If iCloud is turned on, it syncs between your devices through the private iCloud database that belongs to your Apple Account. I can’t see or access that data. Apple provides and secures iCloud, and its use is covered by Apple’s privacy policy. To keep your devices up to date, iCloud may use Apple’s push service to let them know something changed.

You can delete your data in the app at any time, and you can manage or remove what an app stores in iCloud from your device’s iCloud settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions and free trials are handled by Apple through the App Store. I never receive your name, email address, or payment details. Apple gives me sales reports that don’t identify you. The record of when your free trial started is kept in your own iCloud account.

Notifications

My apps don’t send push notifications from a server. An app may schedule notifications on your device, such as Locus ToDo updating its app icon badge when to-dos come due. These are created and delivered on your device and ask for your permission first.

Links you add

When you add a link to a to-do, Locus ToDo loads that web page directly from your device to fill in its title. The website you linked sees an ordinary request from your device, the same as visiting it. I’m not involved in that request and don’t receive anything from it.

Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, and extensions

Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight search, and share sheet support are provided by Apple and work on your device. The Locus ToDo browser extension passes the current page’s title and address straight to the app on your computer. None of these send your information to me.

Exports and snapshots

Files you export are saved wherever you choose. Snapshots stay in your data and sync with it through iCloud.

Diagnostics

If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings, Apple may send me crash reports and usage statistics that don’t identify you. You can turn this off at any time in your device’s privacy settings.

This website

This website doesn’t use accounts, cookies, analytics, or tracking. The server may keep standard request logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, for security and troubleshooting.

Children

My apps don’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If an app ever needs to handle your information differently, I’ll update this page before that version is released and describe what changed. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
